Mr. Chris Anderson serves as Borrego Solar’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Based out of the New England regional headquarters, Chris has over 15 years of electrical manufacturing and general construction experience and has personally supervised the design and construction of over 15 MWs of solar power installations. As CTO, Chris leads Borrego Solar’s Resources Group, a team of engineers dedicated to reducing system costs through the evaluation, development, and adoption of new technology. Prior to joining Borrego Solar, Chris was a national sales manager for Alfa Lighting Inc., where he developed the personnel, inventory, distribution, and accounting systems needed to meet the company growth plans. His participation at Alfa, vaulted the company from a small organization handling only local sales to the third largest national low-voltage lighting manufacturer in the US. Chris holds a BAE in Architectural Engineering from Penn State University and is NABCEP certified. He holds a California C-10 Electrician’s License and a Connecticut Electrical Limited Solar Contractors License. He is also an eligible installer in New York‘s Power Naturally Program and a certified installer in Pennsylvania through the PA Sunshine Program.
