Mr. Potovsky is a Senior Project Developer working out of Borrego Solar’s regional headquarters in Oakland, California. He manages Borrego’s “Solar for Schools” initiative, with a primary focus on financing through power purchase agreements and bonds. Since 2006, he has simplified for his customers many of the complex aspects of going solar: site audits, usage analysis, rate schedules, cash-flow models, outlining subsidies, working through aesthetic and design considerations and quantifying environmental benefits. He is committed to implementing Borrego Solar’s custom designed curriculum and education programs into each district. David has written articles for School Construction News and has been a featured speaker at the annual CSBA Conference two years in a row. Mr. Potovsky received a BA in Communications from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly SLO).
