Mr. Jon Cerino is a Project Developer based out of Borrego Solar’s corporate headquarters in San Diego. Jon specializes in developing solar energy projects with customers in the food processing, warehousing, transportation, and refrigeration industries. He helps clients develop PV solutions that will offset the long term costs of electricity while simultaneously addressing a growing industry demand to lower the carbon footprint of America’s food supply chain. Jon also works with clients in the education space. The K12 solar power installations he’s developed help schools capitalize on the available state and federal incentives including clean renewable energy bonds (CREBs). Prior to joining Borrego Solar, Jon was the VP of Sales and Marketing for San Diego’s Clean Power Systems. His management of their predominantly residential sales team led to the company’s success in 2008 as the leading San Diego installer of residential solar power installations. Jon was featured in January 2009’s Sunny Outlook, a San Diego Business Journal’s article about the solar industry’s outlook in Southern California.
