Mr. Max Sugihara joined Borrego Solar in 2005 and currently serves as a PV Project Consultant for the organization’s Consulting & Development Services division. Before joining the Consulting & Development Services team Max served as Borrego's Regional Director of Operations for the Western US. His additional experience as a field installer, crew leader, commercial site supervisor, and senior commercial project manager on over 15 MWs of installed solar projects has equipped him with the knowledge to provide a high level of solar expertise for his clients. As a PV Project Consultant, Max is focused on leveraging his PV construction management experience to help clients mitigate risk early in the development stages of a project. Max is a certified member of the North American Board of Certified Electrical Practitioners (NABCEP®), and he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a Minor in Appropriate Technology from Humboldt State University.
