Mr. Nathan Whigham is a Senior Project Developer for Borrego Solar in Southern California. Nathan’s background blends sales and business development experience with finance and engineering expertise. Most recently he was a Senior Vice President at a Southern California commercial real estate finance company where he originated and structured the capitalization of over $100 million in commercial real estate projects, which included construction and acquisition financing, mezzanine financing, and both preferred and joint venture equity financing. Prior to that, Nathan was an Account Manager for the Southern California office of a large HVAC manufacturer and energy services company. Nathan holds an MBA with a finance and real estate concentration from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California along with a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering with a Mathematics Minor from the University of Arizona. Nathan authored Solar’s Sweet Spot for the Spring 2010 edition of Development Magazine (aka Commercial Real Estate Development Magazine).
