Mike Hall Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Mike Hall currently serves as CEO and board member for Borrego Solar Systems, Inc. Mike has been with Borrego Solar since 2002. During this time his primary focus has been supporting the sales and marketing of commercial and government grid-tied solar power systems. Prior to joining Borrego Solar, he worked as a Product Development Engineer for Applied Materials in Santa Clara. Mike holds a MS in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University California Santa Barbara. Joining Borrego Solar Systems as a partner in 2002, has allowed Mike to work in the renewable energy field, for which he has always had a strong commitment.
Aaron Hall President
Mr. Aaron Hall currently serves as President and board member of Borrego Solar Systems, Inc. Aaron joined Borrego Solar in 2001. As partners, Aaron and Dr. James Rickard incorporated and brought Borrego Solar out of the desert and into the city. Hall's responsibilities have included commercial sales, project management, and Southern California operations. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Economics from Northwestern University. As a NABCEP certified solar installer, he is passionate about and dedicated to the field of renewable energy and solar power.
Chris Anderson Chief Technology officer
Chris Anderson currently serves as CTO for Borrego Solar. Chris is responsible for leading the company's Resources Group in finding innovative ways to reduce Borrego's installed cost of PV installations through the evaluation, adoption and development of new technology. Chris’ experience co-founding both the Northern California and New England regional offices has provided him with the practical and technical experience necessary to evaluate the quality and cost structure of our systems. His prior experience in manufacturing and BAE in Architectural Engineering from Penn State University provides Chris with the unique experience to marry fabrication, construction and building science. Chris has a C-10 electrician’s license in California (#872888), an Electrical Limited Solar Contractor license in Connecticut and is NABCEP certified.
Bradley Hibberd Director of Engineering
Bradley Hibberd joined Borrego in June 2003 from the oil and gas industry, working as a Mechanical Engineer for Kvaerner Oilfield Products in London, UK. Bradley has managed the design and engineering of over 12 Megawatts of PV installations with Borrego. Bradley is working to reduce the installed cost of our systems through value engineering, standardization, and product development. He is responsible for ensuring the highest levels of design quality through his review of our Design Engineer’s drawings and strict adherence to our design standards and the applicable electrical and building code requirements. Bradley is responsible for the development of Borrego’s design standards used by our engineering team and the consolidation of our design and engineering tools. Bradley holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Auckland, New Zealand and is NABCEP certified.
Brendan Neagle Chief Operations Officer
Mr. Brendan Neagle has extensive experience in both the solar photovoltaic (PV) industry and as an entrepreneur. His role as COO is to bring efficiency to internal systems and manage Borrego Solar’s construction operations. Brendan has worked in the solar industry since 2002. Before joining Borrego Solar, he was the Manager of Business Development and Sales for a leading designer and installer of solar PV systems in Northern California. Brendan joined Borrego Solar as the VP of Business Development in 2006. He managed Borrego’s geographic expansion into New England, hiring, mentoring and training the East coast team. In 2008 Borrego installed about 2 MW of PV in New England -- approximately 40% of the market share in Massachusetts. Brendan became the Chief Operations Officer for Borrego Solar Systems in 2008, and his enthusiasm for solar energy will continue to establish Borrego Solar as a nationally recognized integrator of large commercial and government PV systems. He holds a BA from Brown University.
Ned DeWitt VP of Sales
Ned DeWitt leads Borrego Solar’s national sales force for commercial, industrial, non-profit, and municipal markets. His responsibilities include managing Borrego’s team of Senior Energy Consultants and developing the infrastructure and methodology needed to meet Borrego Solar’s aggressive growth goals. His career in the solar industry began in 2003 as an Energy Consultant. He joined Borrego Solar in January 2005 and has more than doubled sales in his region every year for the last four years. In addition, Mr. DeWitt has built Borrego’s skills and experience in the Affordable Housing industry establishing Borrego as the premier solar power provider in this segment. Prior to joining the solar industry Mr. DeWitt enjoyed a successful career as a Market Maker trading stock options on the floor of the Pacific Stock Exchange in San Francisco. Mr. DeWitt graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in East Asian Religious Studies.
