Military Solar Power Installation at Air Force Base Edwards, CA The fixed-tilt ground-mounted military solar power installations at Edwards Air Force Base, totaling 3.4 megawatts DC, were installed for no money down. The solar arrays are offsetting about 6% of the energy consumption at the North Base, South Base, and the Air Force Research Laboratory facilities.
