Solar Power Install at Air Force Base Edwards, CA The single-axis tracker military solar power installation at Edwards Air Force Base, totaling 3.4 megawatts DC, was installed for no money down. The solar arrays are offsetting about 6% of the energy consumption at the North Base, South Base, and the Air Force Research Laboratory facilities.
