As a Senior Project Developer and Regional Sales Manager, Cameron’s focus is on leading Borrego Solar’s Behind-the-Meter solar and storage development team. This team focuses on providing commercial-scale solutions to the private and public sector. Cameron has been interested in energy his entire career; his first exposure to renewables took place as a member of the first Appropriate Technology class ever offered by Seattle Pacific University in which they designed and built a biogas generator, a micro-hydro installation and a small wind turbine. Later Cameron worked for both the Department of Defense as well as in the oil and gas industry as a consulting engineer before transitioning full-time to renewable energy in 2012.Cameron is passionate about making solar energy highly competitive with traditional energy sources through technological innovation and a ‘can-do’ approach to project development. Cameron is a licensed Electrical Engineer and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Seattle Pacific University and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He joined Borrego Solar in 2012.
